eudora lite email account setup
The following tutorial is designed to demonstrate a step by step process of setting up your email account within Microsoft Outlook in order to send and receive emails. This will also show you which fields you are required to fill in as well as correct server information. Simply click on the 'Step' tabs to navigate the tutorial.

To begin with, start up Eudora and on the top menu select Tools and then select Options as seen in figure 1. |

You will now be presented with the Options screen. Ensure that the Getting Started tab is selected (as indicated by the purple in figure 2) and fill out the necessary information. The 'Real name' field will be your name and 'Email address' your current email address. For the 'Mail Server (incoming)' type in: |

Once you have completed filling out the Getting Started tab's details, click on the 'Incoming Mail' tab (highlighted in purple in figure 3) From here make sure that your 'Server Configuration' is set to POP and then click OK. That's pretty much all the configuration that Eudora will need. The majority of the other tabs available are already filled in when you first input information into the Getting Started tab, so there is no need to go through and do this for all the other categories. Now whenever you click on the check mail button in the menu bar, a window will pop up asking for your password. Enter your password and click on the 'Proceed' button. Eudora will then check to see if you have any mail. It may be necessary to send a test email to yourself and check to make sure it does get returned to you. And that's it. You're all set to use Eudora Lite. |
